Which languages Divrite supports

The Divrite interface is in English, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. You can ask in other languages too, and research covers local-language sources.

Last updated

There are three separate things to know: the language of the interface, the language of your results, and the languages Divrite searches in.

Interface language

The Divrite interface is available in:

  • English
  • 简体中文 (Simplified Chinese)
  • 日本語 (Japanese)
  • Español (Spanish)

To change it, use the language switcher in the sidebar or go to Settings → Preferences → Language. The interface switches as soon as you save. This setting also sets the language of notification emails from Divrite.

Language of your results

The interface language doesn’t limit what you can ask. You can ask a question in another language, and Divrite generally answers in the language you asked in. A German question in the English interface gets a German answer.

If you’d like a fixed answer language regardless of how you ask, set it in AI answer preferences.

Quality is best in widely used languages. If a result in a less common language reads awkwardly, try asking in English and requesting a translation of the final text.

Languages Divrite searches in

Research isn’t limited to your language either. When your question involves particular countries, Divrite searches in those countries’ languages as well as in English, then compares what the sources say. Sources are cited in their original language, so you can open the original page.

For why this matters, see our article on researching across languages.
