Every Divrite plan comes with a monthly allowance of credits. Each time Divrite does work for you, such as researching, writing a report, building slides or editing an image, it uses credits from your balance. The current numbers are at the top of this page.
What decides the cost
The credits a task uses depend mainly on:
- What you create. An answer costs less than a long report or a full deck.
- How deep the research goes. Deep research reads many more sources than a quick search, so it costs more. See Visual mode vs Deep mode.
- Size. A 20-slide deck uses more than a 10-slide one.
Credits are charged for what a task actually uses: language-model processing, web searches and page reads, and images. You can see every task’s charge in Settings → Plan & credits. If a task fails without producing a result, all of its credits are returned automatically; tasks you stop or cancel yourself are charged for the work done until then.
When credits reset
- Your monthly credits refresh at the start of each billing month.
- Monthly credits don’t roll over. Anything unused at the end of the month expires when the new allowance arrives.
- Top-up credits are separate. They don’t expire at the end of the month and stay available while your subscription is active. See How to buy a top-up pack.
Which credits are used first
Divrite always uses your monthly credits first, and only uses top-up credits once the monthly allowance has run out. This way, top-up credits are never used while monthly credits that are about to expire are still available.
Running low
If a task needs more credits than you have left, Divrite tells you before it starts and offers two options: buy a top-up pack, or move to a plan with a larger monthly allowance.
Checking your balance
Your current balance, the date it next refreshes, and a history of what used credits are in the usage section of your account.
