Summary
- Cancel any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops. No further charges.
- Refund for unused credits, any time. Ask us and we refund your current payment in proportion to the credits you have not used. For example, if a plan gives you 3,000 credits and you have used 300, you get 90% back.
- Top-up packs are refunded the same way, for the credits not yet used.
- Failed tasks are never charged. Their credits come back automatically and do not count as used.
- Refunds are issued by our payment provider to your original payment method.
Cancel any time
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling turns off auto-renewal: you will not be charged again, and you keep access to your plan and your remaining monthly credits until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund; if you would rather stop now and get the unused part of your payment back, ask for a refund as described below.
Refunds for unused credits
You can ask for a refund of your current subscription payment at any time, for any reason. The refund is proportional to the credits that payment gave you and that you have not used:
- Monthly plans: refund = payment × (credits not used this billing month ÷ credits granted this billing month).
- Annual plans: refund = payment × (credits not used ÷ credits for the whole year). The year’s credits are the monthly allowance × 12; credits for months that have not started yet count as unused.
For example, the Starter plan includes 3,000 credits a month. If you have used 300 of them this month, you get 90% of that month’s payment back. On an annual Starter plan, if you have used 300 credits in total, you get 99.2% of the annual payment back.
- What counts as used: credits charged for tasks in the period. Credits returned for failed tasks do not count. Monthly credits that expired at the end of an earlier month of an annual plan count as used.
- After an upgrade, the refund is calculated on the payment for your current plan. Monthly credits replaced by the upgrade are not refunded.
- Earlier billing periods that have already ended are not refundable.
Top-up packs
A top-up pack is refunded in proportion to its credits you have not used: refund = price × (unused credits of the pack ÷ credits in the pack). Monthly credits are always used before top-up credits, and older packs are used before newer ones, so the unused credits of a pack are easy to work out from your credit history.
Failed tasks and service problems
- Failed tasks are not charged. If a task fails without producing a result (for example, a deck where no slide could be generated, or a search that ends without an answer), every credit it used is returned automatically to your balance, usually within a few minutes. You do not need to ask. Tasks you stop or cancel yourself are charged for the work done until then.
- If an output is clearly broken (for example an empty or corrupted file) and the credits were not returned, contact us and we will restore them.
- If the Service is unavailable for an extended period, or we materially fail to provide what you paid for, contact us and we will offer credit compensation or a pro-rata refund, as appropriate.
Credits already used are not refunded, including when an output did not meet expectations of style or content. If that happens, write to us; we are glad to help you get a better result.
How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] from the address on your Divrite account, with the subject “Refund request”.
- Include the order or receipt number from your payment confirmation email. A short note on why you are leaving helps us improve, but it does not affect the refund.
- We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the Merchant of Record, back to your original payment method.
Depending on your bank or card issuer, a refund usually appears within 5–10 business days. Refunds include any tax collected on the refunded amount.
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks take longer to resolve, and while one is open we may suspend the account involved.
What happens after a refund
- Subscription refund: the subscription ends immediately, remaining monthly credits are removed, and generation becomes unavailable. Your existing works remain in your account and you can still view and export them.
- Top-up refund: the refunded credits are removed from your balance.
